My name is Sherryl Mascarinas and I create and design children's hair accessories in CT. I love all things handmade and am a total Etsy addict. I married my childhood sweetheart and am a mom to three wonderful children - two girls and a boy. Skylar's Candy Clips got started when my daughter Skylar was less than a year old. I wanted to be creative and make her some really unique hair clips. My creative addiction turned into an obsession and when I discovered Etsy back in 2008, I decided that Skylar's Candy Clips should be available to little girls everywhere!
