I am really thankful for all the wonderful people who have featured me recently.

Kendra from StrandedDesigns who included me in her Treasury. Lindy from The Craft Indie Blog who was so sweet to feature me yesterday. Kate from Kate Williams Designs who purchased one of my Baby Happy Flower Headbands and turned it into a prize for her giveaway. Heather from Cookie Sundays, Ice Cream Mondays who included a beautiful picture of her girls wearing my posies in one of her posts. Dana from Plum Tree Studio who bought one of my Happy Flower Headbands and wrote a sweet post about it on her blog. Courtney from One Bored Mommy for her wonderful giveaways where I won this beauty for Skylar.

And to everyone who started following my blog - I read each and every sweet comment that you write.

Sweet Month of May Part 2

We love New Canaan's May Fair at St. Marks. We go every year. There are lots of little rides for the kids. Little itty bitty rides.

Peyton was still too little to go on any of the rides but she sure enjoyed hitching a ride on mommy's hip!

The Sweetest Skylar's Candy Clips Tea Party

But the sweetest part of May was the first ever Skylar's Candy Clips Tea Party hosted by a friend of mine at her house. She invited all the moms in her moms group and it was quite a success. 15% of the proceeds were donated to the March of Dimes foundation in honor of my cousin who had her first baby at 27 weeks (but doing quite well, thank you). We ended the Tea Party with a raffle from the Skylar's Candy Clips collection and 100% of the money went to March of Dimes as well.

To everyone who was involved in this event, thank you for making it successful. I am hoping to do another Tea Party this fall so stay tuned!

The Cutest Candy Clip on the Block - CONTEST (extended)!

To everyone who has sent in a picture of their adorable kiddies wearing their Candy Clips - thank you. I am still waiting on a few more entries to be added so I am postponing posting the pictures of the kids until May 12th. This will hopefully be enough time for everyone else who hasn't given me their pics to get added to the list.

Almost Famous.

The Osborne Hill Spring Boutique yesterday was great. Not phenomenal - but great. There was a decent crowd and my table did alright. I had my good friend Shirley help me with selling (she puts her MBA to good use by organizing and tracking my sales and special orders!). My friend Dorit stopped by with some cookies and iced coffee (she is such a godsend!). With so many talented crafters all around me, how can I resist browsing? Some of my finds were 1) a bag of organic peanut butter dog biscuits for my pup (her 7th birthday was April 1st) 2) white chocolate dipped homemade biscotti with cranberries (okay - this bag lasted for about 5 minutes) 3) a box of homemade cupcakes for my kids.

But best of all, I had some really great customers. Four of them knew my name from a children's boutique that I supply to in that town. An eight year old kid said, "Look mommy - it's Skylar's Candy Clips! From that store!". Wow. I am so flattered. So happy that they LIKE my stuff. Here are some pics from Osborne Hill:
